KRISTEN BRATTON,
MA, LCMHC, NBCC
Hello
I’m Kristen
Kristen is passionate about coming alongside people and providing a safe, welcoming space where one can be heard, experience connection and move towards growth. She also loves coming alongside to celebrate courageous new steps, cheer others on, and celebrate new-found places of joy and hope. Kristen’s dedication in walking alongside is reflected in the name “Wellspring.” Wellspring Christian Counseling was established based on the verse from Proverbs 4:23 that says, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.” To keep our heart (and mind) healthy, it takes work. We are constantly bombarded with life situations and circumstances, noise from social media, as well as our own personal struggles and challenges. We can easily lose heart and get swallowed by the things around us. Yet, we don’t have to go through them alone. At Wellspring Christian Counseling, the desire is to help tend to or keep your heart and mind in a way that brings about a sustained, fortified life of real connection, healthy thinking, and personal growth.
Kristen received her Masters in Counseling from Columbia International University and her BA in Education from Clemson University. She has had work experiences teaching in the school system, working in college ministry, and has provided counseling services in a hospital setting as well as private practice for many years. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys traveling, college football (Go Tigers!), and spending time with her husband and two children.
